The project "The oil heritage of Ignacy Łukasiewicz's activity".

The aim of the project is to popularize knowledge about the oil heritage in order to increase tourism in the Podkarpackie province and the Lviv Oblast.
The project description: The area of ​​the Podkarpackie province is the place where the extraction of crude oil began and it was used for the purposes known to us  till current times. The Lviv Oblast can also boast a similar heritage. Ignacy Łukasiewicz, known all over the world, lived and worked in these areas. The exposition of places that are the cradle and the beginning of the entire modern industrialization of the global oil industry in the form of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz heritage trail as a tourist product will contribute to the expansion of the tourist offer of the borderland.
