Crude oil mines in Potok.
Crude oil deposits in Potok were discovered at the end of the 19th century. At that time, exploration and production works in the town were carried out by many enterprises, including Hannover-Galicia Oil Association, Bergheim & Mac Garvey, Wiktor Klobassa and the Sroczyński and Mikulski Company. The "Potok" Crude Oil Mine is still open. You can see numerous cauldrons, tripods and masts among the fields and forests,. There is a beautiful view of the Jedlicze panorama and the Krosno land from the Potocka Mountain.
